“ Kimchi house is an OG hidden gem in Calgary that serves no nonsense, quick, korean eats. Well known for their bibimbaps.. the pork and calamari bowl is to die for. Located in a rundown location, kimchi house is not known for the atmosphere but rather the delicious food. This place is always popping off during lunch but is rather quiet at dinner time. If you want affordable quick korean eats with friendly service, this is the spot! ”

“ You need to go inside the little "mall" to find this place. It is a hidden gem that too many know about, so lines can be long sometimes. I try to go at 11:30 though and no issues getting back to work during my break usually. I have been more than 10 times and realized I haven't left this wonderful place a review. While their menu is small and all looks good, I have only ever got the traditional bibimbap in stone bowl. SO good I won't change my order haha. The gentleman at the front can be short at times, but he is very busy. When the lady who does the cooking comes out to deliver food when it is busy she is always nice to me and says hello. I have seen many try one of the soups/stews, but majority of people order the bibimbap stone bowls. You order and then go sit and they bring the food to you when it is ready. The seating is a food court type place that isn't pretty, but it serves the purpose. I have taken several coworkers and friends here and they all are impressed as well and return too. Definitely give them a try! ”
“ Great place to grab lunch if you work downtown. Hot pot serves 2 but more like for 4 people. We got the beef cheese stone bowl bibimbap and the Obulsa hotpot. I’d always recommend the traditional style stone bowl bibimbap. ”

I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience authentic flavors. The prices are also very reasonable. This time, I ordered the Spicy Pork, and it was not only delicious but also very satisfying. The portion size was generous; I ended up having two servings of rice. I'm definitely sure I'll be back next time and would love to try their hotpot! ”
